Fund a book

In Buddhist countries it is considered highly meritorious to fund the printing of Dhamma books so they can be given away freely. While we move toward this ideal, please consider funding or helping to fund the printing of these titles so we can keep them in print at an affordable price.

The Noble Eightfold Path: Way to the End of Suffering, by Bhikkhu Bodhi
Cost: $3,800

The Discourse Summaries, by S.N. Goenka
Cost: $3,600

Call 360.978.5193 or email publisher@pariyatti.org to earmark your donation toward one of these books.

“Pariyatti is a quiet, steadfast tributary flowing into the larger stream of benevolent human endeavor that directly adds to the betterment of our world.” — A friend of Pariyatti

A $50 donation arrived recently with this note: "Retired, splitting 1/2 economic stimulus payment among charities and planning on rest in my gas tank." Thanks for sharing.

Can you help Pariyatti meet the $38k Challenge?

Pariyatti is facing a budget deficit this year that is larger than usual. To challenge and inspire others to give, 82 loyal supporters have pledged $38,675. Will you help us match this amount and contribute to Pariyatti by November 30?

As a service organization, we always rely upon donations to bridge the gap between income and expenses; revenues from book sales do not offset the costs of our services, including publishing and importing books, and providing resources for meditators. Here's how you can contribute:

Whether you make a financial contribution, buy books or tell others about our services and offerings, we invite you to help us share the teachings of the Buddha. Pariyatti is recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization, so donations are tax-deductible in accordance with U.S. tax law.

Your support makes it possible for us to continue disseminating the teachings of the Buddha, informing Vipassana meditators, and shining a light on the path to happiness for all beings.

The donor is happy before giving danā,
fills his mind with contentment while giving danā,
and is delighted after giving danā.
Such is the abundance of happiness
of danā offered with wholesome volition.
