Fund a book

In Buddhist countries it is considered highly meritorious to fund the printing of Dhamma books so they can be given away freely. While we move toward this ideal, please consider funding or helping to fund the printing of these titles so we can keep them in print at an affordable price.

Cost: $3,800   Needed by: September 15, 2008

“Pariyatti is a quiet, steadfast tributary flowing into the larger stream of benevolent human endeavor that directly adds to the betterment of our world.” — A friend of Pariyatti

A $50 donation arrived recently with this note: "Retired, splitting 1/2 economic stimulus payment among charities and planning on rest in my gas tank." Thanks for sharing.

Support Pariyatti´s work

Pariyatti depends on donations—large and small—to fill the significant gap between revenue from book sales and the large costs of publishing. During economic downturns, individual contributions are even more essential. Whether you make a financial contribution, buy books or tell others about our services and offerings, we invite you to help us share the teachings of the Buddha.

The donor is happy before giving danā,
fills his mind with contentment while giving danā,
and is delighted after giving danā.
Such is the abundance of happiness
of danā offered with wholesome volition.
