Fund a book

In 2009 we published new titles, An Ancient Path by Paul R. Fleischman, M.D. and Along the Path, by Kory Goldberg and Michelle Decary. We also reprinted two popular Dhamma books, Meditation Now, a collection of talks by S.N. Goenka, and Karma and Chaos, by Paul Fleischman (both of these are widely available to the book trade through our distributor and serve as valuable forms of outreach).

Awaiting reprint now are Vision of Dhamma, Buddha's Path to Deliverance and The Path of Purification. In Buddhist countries it is considered highly meritorious to fund the printing of Dhamma books. We invite you to be part of this tradition by donating so we can keep titles in print at an affordable price. To earmark a gift toward book printing, call 360.978.5193 or email info@pariyatti.org.

“Pariyatti is a quiet, steadfast tributary flowing into the larger stream of benevolent human endeavor that directly adds to the betterment of our world.” — A friend of Pariyatti

A $50 donation came with this note: "Retired, splitting 1/2 economic stimulus payment among charities and planning on rest in my gas tank."

"Keep up the good work."

The donor is happy before giving danā,
fills his mind with contentment while giving danā,
and is delighted after giving danā.
Such is the abundance of happiness
of danā offered with wholesome volition.

Ways to Support Pariyatti

As a service organization, we rely upon donations to bridge the gap between income and expenses; revenues from book sales do not offset the costs of our services, including publishing and importing books, and providing resources for meditators.

Artist-Contributors (Art Pariyatti)

Whether you make a financial contribution, buy books or tell others about our services and offerings, we invite you to help us share the teachings of the Buddha. Pariyatti is recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization, so donations are tax-deductible in accordance with U.S. tax law.

Your support makes it possible for us to continue disseminating the teachings of the Buddha, informing Vipassana meditators, and shining a light on the path to happiness for all beings.

The Pariyatti Endowment Fund

Donors who wish to leave money in their wills, or set up various kinds of trusts for estate-planning purposes, or just donate directly now, may make use of the Vipassana Community Foundation (VCF) as a secure and trusted recipient. Since Pariyatti has an affiliate fund with VCF, donors can give to Pariyatti so that Pariyatti can deposit the donation into its endowment fund for VCF to manage. A donor can also give directly to VCF, or use any number of estate planning tools to donate now or later to Pariyatti's endowment fund with VCF.

Both Pariyatti and VCF are fully tax-deductible, 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, so any of these routes will allow the donor the full benefit of tax relief available under U.S. law. Contact Luke Matthews, Executive Director, Pariyatti, 867 Larmon Rd., Onalaska, WA  98570. Tel. 360.978.5193 or email director@pariyatti.org
