This is the beginning of Pariyatti's 25th year in service,
providing books and other resources
to many who are interested in the teachings of the Buddha.
Please join us this year as we celebrate the brightness of these teachings.

In the service of pariyatti

We serve out of gratitude, and with a wish to repay our debt to all those who in the past 2,500 years have endeavored to preserve the invaluable teachings of the Buddha. It is our heartfelt volition to contribute towards keeping the wheel of Dhamma rolling, so that others may benefit from this Dhamma and experience real peace and happiness on the path. It is with this intention that Pariyatti offers its services.

“Pariyatti is a quiet, steadfast tributary flowing into the larger stream of benevolent human endeavor that directly adds to the betterment of our world.” — A friend of Pariyatti

A $50 donation came with this note: "Retired, splitting 1/2 economic stimulus payment among charities and planning on rest in my gas tank."

"Keep up the good work."

In this world, there are three things of value for one who gives...
Before giving, the mind of the giver is happy.
While giving, the mind of the giver is peaceful.
After giving, the mind of the giver is uplifted.

Ways to Support Pariyatti

As a service organization, we rely upon donations to bridge the gap between income and expenses; revenues from book sales do not offset the costs of our services, including publishing and importing books, and providing resources for meditators.

Artist-Contributors (Art Pariyatti)

Whether you make a financial contribution, buy books or tell others about our services and offerings, we invite you to help us share the teachings of the Buddha. Pariyatti is recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization, so donations are tax-deductible in accordance with U.S. tax law.

Your support makes it possible for us to continue disseminating the teachings of the Buddha, informing Vipassana meditators, and shining a light on the path to happiness for all beings.

The Pariyatti Endowment Fund

Donors who wish to leave money in their wills, or set up various kinds of trusts for estate-planning purposes, or just donate directly now, may make use of the Vipassana Community Foundation (VCF) as a secure and trusted recipient. Since Pariyatti has an affiliate fund with VCF, donors can give to Pariyatti so that Pariyatti can deposit the donation into its endowment fund for VCF to manage. A donor can also give directly to VCF, or use any number of estate planning tools to donate now or later to Pariyatti's endowment fund with VCF.

Both Pariyatti and VCF are fully tax-deductible, 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, so any of these routes will allow the donor the full benefit of tax relief available under U.S. law. Thus at that moment, at that instant, at that second, the cry (that the Wheel of Truth is set in motion) spread as far as the brahma realm, and this ten thousand world system shook, quaked, and trembled, and an immeasurable sublime radiance surpassing the effulgence (power) of the devas appeared in the world.
