Translation of the Cha.t.tha Sangaayana text of the seventh book of the Abhidhamma-pi.taka, in two volumes. It is the final book of the Abhidhamma pitaka divided into two parts: the Tikapatthana with "group of threes", and the Dukapatthana dealing with "groups of twos". It is a highly technical text, consisting of a minutely detailed analysis of the doctrine of conditionality.
