Different types of individuals are classified according to a manner of enumeration. Each chapter is set in order by the number of divisions for each type of classification. For example, chapter 1 is titled Division of Human Types by One and gives 50 types of persons designated with particular quality or characteristic with only one division or specification for each type: What sort of person is one of perturbable nature? What sort of person is restrained by fear? What sort of person is an eye-witness? Each chapter increases the number of specifications by one additional division for each type of human being. Chapter 2 is titled Division of Human Types by Two and gives 27 types of persons each with two divisions: What sort of person is angry? ...is a slanderer? What sort of person is crafty? ...is deceitful? Which two persons are easily satisfied? Chapter 3 is titled Division of Human Types by Three and gives 17 types of ....
