Products for Old Students of S.N. Goenka

Vipassana meditation group sittings are available on CD and as MP3 downloads to meditators who have completed a ten-day course with S. N. Goenka or his assistant teachers. Also offered are discourses heard during 1-day, 3-day and Satipatthana Sutta courses, as well as chantings heard during the 10-day and Satipatthana Sutta courses.

The Old Student page is password-protected and lists items available to Old Students only, not the general public. Old students will find recommended reading and additional materials in our public catalog. Old students may also be interested in our Words of Dhamma offering.

Discourses from the 10-day Vipassana course are not restricted to Old Students, and may be found here. Please see "Recommended" under Vipassana Meditation for books of particular interest to Old Students.

Respecting the copyright of the Vipassana Research Institute by not freely distributing these materials is important for two reasons:

• It protects the integrity of the Vipassana technique, because only those who have actually completed the ten-day course will be able to properly utilize the instructions.
• It helps ensure the continuity of distribution of authentic materials by legitimate sources.
